Whitney Lee {Wedding Photography}

owl-cake

Whitney Lee's work is stunning. She holds an honors degree in photography and has 10 years of impressive wedding photography experience. Her work has been published in several national magazines.

"Wedding photography is so much deeper than simply documenting an event, It is about being aware of the thoughts and feelings of the bride and groom and their families and then capturing moments that can recall those feelings for lifetimes to come. It is about sensing the style, happiness and grace of the day and making images that not only document those qualities, but are themselves stylish, happy, and graceful."

The above shown wedding photos are of one of Whitney's client's - Julie and Todd. I couldn't stop looking at the cake. It looks yummy! Notice the detailed work on the feathers which were made out of rice paper (I wish a bite of it). It's the groom's cake. The wedding tiered cake looks amazing too. I can bet it tasted heavenly with the following ingredients - rose-water vanilla with orange and lemon curd filling (alternating tiers), American buttercream frosting and fondant outer layer. YUM!

Fifth picture is of the wedding favor. Julie, the bride, made those buttons herself and the total cost of the project was under $5o. Good job! Notice the bride's and groom's initials on it. Seventh picture is of save-the-date card, for which Julie custom made the postage stamp. Love it! Eighth picture gives a sneak peak of their album. For more you can visit Julie's blog.

Don't you love the color scheme? Would you like to incorporate an owl theme on your big day?

The owl cake is so cute. The rice paper feather are a nice touch. I really like the custom stamps though - what a great idea.
